The Royal Highland Hotel, Inverness

My stay at the hotel was quite a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered good discounts on food and drinks, but the alley behind the hotel attracted local youths, causing some disturbances. The service, although not very friendly overall, was redeemed by a helpful and cheery male night porter. The location was great right next to the train station with a good view of the shopping center, yet there were unexpected commotions at times. Dining options were plentiful, although there were some issues with the speed of service. Overall, a decent stay with some ups and downs.
